What Is Apogee Coaching?
Let's start with what it isn't. It isn't therapy. It isn't consulting (I won't tell you what to do). It isn't reserved for executives, and it doesn't require a title or a corner office to qualify.
Workplace coaching is focused on the part of your life where you spend most of your waking hours — working with, alongside, and sometimes in spite of other people. The goals we pursue together are grounded in that reality: how you communicate, how you make decisions, how you influence the people around you, and how you show up when things get hard.
That said, I've never met a goal that stayed neatly inside the office door. The habits, communication patterns, and thinking styles we work on tend to follow you home — which is usually a feature, not a bug.
The heart of my approach is a simple idea: leadership isn't a position, it's a behavior. Anyone who influences other people — whether they manage a team of fifty or just need to get three colleagues to agree on something — is doing leadership work. You don't have to be the boss. You just have to care about doing it well.

How It Works
In a series of focused 1:1 sessions, we work together to define the goal, build a step-by-step plan, explore relevant tools and skills, and create new habits. You bring the direction and the effort. I'm here to support, nudge, and help you stay focused.
The program starts with an exploration of your values and how you — like all humans — are wired for change. We clarify your goals, co-create an action plan, and then meet every two weeks to keep you moving. We wrap up with a concrete strategy to lock in and sustain what you've built long after our sessions are done.
The standard engagement includes ten virtual sessions held approximately every two weeks. Think of it less as time away from real life, and more as real-time coaching while you're in the game.

Discover
One 90-minute Session
We start by naming and defining what you bring to the table — your values, attributes, and the skills already working in your favor. Then you clarify your specific goals for the engagement and define what success looks like along the way.
Design
One 90-Minute Session
Together, we co-create an action plan that includes learning, practice, and reflection. We'll explore up to three essential skills most relevant to your goals — things like Epic Listening and Powerful Questions, Feedback for Humans, or Influencing Change. Think of this as building the blueprint before we start construction.
Build
Four* 60-minute Sessions
This is where the real work of change happens! In each session, we’ll dive deeper into topics of your choice, celebrate achievements, acknowledge setbacks, and recalibrate the plan as needed.
Soar
One 60-minute Completion session, plus one 60-minute Booster Session.
Here we turn new skills into durable habits. We do a final assessment of your goal pursuit, identify potential roadblocks, and build a sustain-and-expand plan for what you've accomplished. About three months after we wrap, we'll schedule a 60-minute booster session — because good habits deserve a check-in, and sometimes a tune-up.
