Lead From Wherever You Are is our framework for thinking about the way people inspire, influence, and lead - whether from a position of authority, as a member of a team, or an individual who wants to help the people around them do their best work. There are four practice areas:
Maximize Your Wiring starts with the premise that humans are hard-wired to thrive in groups. We all have unique values, attributes, skills, and experiences to add to the group. In this section, we explore tools to maximize that wiring to
Connect With People explores ways to amplify the essential, brain-based, and improvable skills that allow leaders to effectively communicate with the people.
In Expand Your Thinking, we explore the art and science of making good decisions. We practice different ways to balance emotions, data, and experience to discern your best role (and response) and hone your “Power Skills.”
Spark Action. At the center of the module is the “Holly Grail” of leadership skills: mastering feedback. To get there, we’ll explore the neuroscience of how people change their habits and ways of thinking, practice tools for discerning your best role in influencing change in others, explore tools for effective coaching, and discuss ways to build trust with others.
